Our Leadership
Pastor Sheldon Little & First Lady Doreen Little
At the heart of Christian’s Temple F.B.H. Church is a beautiful story of love, service, and unwavering commitment to God’s people.
Pastor Sheldon Little, the grandson of the church’s founder, carries forward a powerful legacy of faith with humility and compassion. For nearly two decades, he has faithfully served as both an educator and a security officer within Chicago Public Schools, helping to protect, guide, and uplift children and their families each day.
Alongside him is his wife, First Lady Doreen Little, also a Chicago Public School staff member, whose grace, strength, and nurturing spirit have touched countless lives. Together, they have devoted their lives to creating safe, loving, and supportive environments, not only through their professions, but through their ministry and presence in the community.
Whether through providing food, clothing, support for those in need, or simply extending a hand of kindness, Pastor Little and First Lady Doreen lead with intentional love. They serve the elderly, the underserved, and the forgotten, ensuring that no one feels alone.
Their lives reflect a deep commitment to stewardship, pouring into others through education, discipline, compassion, and unwavering faith. To know them is to experience genuine care. To encounter them is to become family.
They are proud parents of three wonderful adult children and loving grandparents, cherishing the family God has blessed them with.
More than leaders, they are servants, faithfully guiding this ministry with hearts fostered in love, purpose, and the call of God.

Our Legacy

Historical Significance

What once stood as a place of everyday work has become a house of worship, prayer, and transformation.
The building at 218 N. Pulaski Road was formerly known as Carl Stockholm Cleaners, a place where garments were restored and cared for in the 1950's and 1960's. The building was a vital part of the local commercial corridor. During this time, Johny Paul Coleman, a grandfather of the current Pastor, worked within the building. But through vision, faith, and obedience, it was transformed into something far greater. In later years, Mr. Coleman was called into ministry and became part of the spiritual foundation of what would become Christian's Temple F.B.H Church.
Founded by Rev. Daniel McCollough, a man of unwavering faith and deep commitment to God’s people, Christian’s Temple F.B.H. Church was established as a beacon of hope in the community. He saw beyond what the building was and embraced what it could become, a sacred space where lives would be changed.
Today, that same legacy continues through, Pastor Sheldon Little, carrying forward the vision with love, compassion, and a heart for the community.
From cleaning garments to restoring lives, this house stands as a living testimony of God’s power to transform, renew, and redeem
